Exe The Story: Sonic.EXE Episode (A .EXE 2019 Original Prototype)

In the beginning of 2019 i decided to start to do videogames in a serious way, wanting to do a really nice game finlaly, as other ones were not so nice, and i decided to do a new remake of Sonic Versus and EXE The Full Stories, i called it Exe The Story.

I put myself into it making the collisions, learning how to do them experimenting a bit in ClickTeam Fusion.

I put many sprites, working on the scenes and animations, and i created 3 episodes of the first part of EXE The Story, the Sonic.EXE episodes.

It took me many days from what i remember, and it wasn't at all simple, it was the most serious project i have ever done until 2019, and i put so so much effort in it. :)

The problem was that i couldn't do a so so good gameplay, also because ok, i knew how to do collisions, but there were problems to make the player jump, and i just couldn't, and i couldn't even zoom to make it more bigger the characters, and i just left them a bit little in the frame.

And yeah, that mountain background in the Green Hill terrain was a bit nonsense, that's true, haha 😅

And the gameplay is really less, because i really didn't know how to do animations and a good fight or chase, i had to put a path for the enemy (Sonic.exe) or like to do collisions, and for example now i got ideas and ways to do it, but in 2019 it wasn't at all simple, and i just decided to left it as it was, making it more like an animation/movie to watch instead of playing it, because you play it only in the first episode, but in the second and third one is just like an animation.

I learnt to do many new things, like also the audio finally adjusting it correctly, and many other things.

I just don't know how it's possible that i decided just to leave it as it was, i don't know, i mean, this project as an animation wasn't at all bad, but as game, i mean, it wasn' even a game..., so yeah, that's the biggest problem. :/

The fight with Shadow and Tails Doll was a bit cool, and other scenes in general, but the dialogues were too much faster to read unluckily.

The idea was really cool, i decided to put many characters less known from Sonic saga, and also the classic Sonic.exe ones.

I put also Sanic, and other ones like Metal Sonic and Shadows for example, it was kinda cool and entertaining, but not as game, that's for sure, i know it perfectly.

There was also a little meme inside the game, many events that happened there, many deaths, etc..., and also the final wasn't so bad, it was a really cool idea for me, that's what i think.

I know that as a game it wasn't at all good, a few backgrounds were nonsense, some dialogues were too faster to read, true, but many talked about this game as that it was literally the main meaning of the word "shit", when there are other games really more horrible then mine.

It was a really good idea, not like Luigikid said that it was copied, i never saw someone to put exactly this idea in a game, never, so why he has always to be toxic? and to make fun of my game in a so toxic way? He did it to my 2019 version of Sonic Versus named "Exe The Story", and ok, the game was bad, but in 2014 he played worst games and he didn't make fun of them, why now he is so toxic? He was so better in the past 10 years, i don't like at all his way of behaving and his attitude. :/

And i decided to do something funny, to put the credits of every character appeared in the end of the episodes 3 credits scene.

You know movies, in the end of the movies, in the credits scene, the actors are credited for what they did, i wanted to do the same thing in a funny way for my game, and as always Luigikid had to behave in a so toxic way, uhh.., i liked his videos, but i stopped watching him exactly when i saw him being so toxic, and after the video on my game, because that was too much toxic.

I wanted him to play The Bigball game in 2025, and he just didn't accept it at all for his challenge event, and i know it wasn't truly a .exe game, but it was horror!

So he could accept it, to do different things something on his channel, he did many different things in the past, and now he does always always so fricking always the same things about only Sonic.exe, uhh.. :/

I did everything by myself since 2023, putting effort and finding what i really know to do as games, and experimenting more and more, i don't want to give up, from time to time i always will do things. :)

I wanted to do a Mario.exe episode part with 3 games, but i just lost the vibe after some time and after the video of Luigikid, and i know that my game was bad, but in that video he really behaved in a bad way and i lost all the vibe to do games for a while, and that's what happened, i decided to never do again a Sonic.EXE game.

And i accept criticism, but not in a toxic way as he did and saying just bad jokes and nothing else really constructive, by fooling the game and developers.
